Description:

This driver supports Vaux Lattis V10 matrix switchers connected to the XP processor via RS232. TCP/IP is supported but has not been tested.

Version 1.01 fixes a problem where the XP processor could not connect to the matrix.

Vaux Electronics Lattis Matrix Switcher - Version 10

This driver is for the Vaux Electronics Lattis V10 Series of matrix switchers. It is not intended for use with firmware versions prior to 10.0. It supports direct access to the functions for 16x32 analog audio/component video switch configurations with exception of 24x32 for composite video/digital audio switch configurations.

This driver has been tested on a Model LE-808AHD-10X component with audio switch using RS232. TCP Connectivity has NOT been tested at this time.

TCP Connection

The TCP connection on the Lattis should be connected to the Network connection on the first Lattis switch in the chain (Base Zone ID - 1).

The Lattis switch should be set to a Static IP Address using port 8888.

- Note - When using the TCP Connection make sure the baud rate of the Lattis switch is set to 38400 as stated in the Vaux "Using Vaux IP Switchers" document.

RS-232 Connection

The RS-232 connection on the Lattis should be connected with a straight through cable to the XP-8 serial adapter.

The Lattis defaults to a baud rate of 38400.

Other Info

- Single volume command is now used for stereo volume. Separate left and right volume adjustments are not supported with this driver.

- Balance is now supported as a direct command and has no impact on the actual volume level response from the switch.

- 3-band parametric EQ is now available for all analog audio output zones. Frequency and Q adjustments are presets and not continuously variable.

- Zone setup features such as Set Zone Turn On, Set Zone Max Level, Zone Factory Reset, etc have been implemented.

- Analog audio input gain has been implemented.

- Group source switching, volume and muting has been implemented.

- Taper delay adjustments have been implemented
