RTI’s RTiQ Intelligent Remote Monitoring Solution Takes Center Stage at CES 2019 With TechHome® Mark of Excellence Award

 

SHAKOPEE, Minn. — Jan. 10, 2019 — RTI, a leading control and automation manufacturer for residential and commercial settings, today announced that its RTiQ Intelligent Remote Monitoring Solution has been honored with a 2019 TechHome® Mark of Excellence Award in the Installation/System Management Product of the Year category.

 

Presented by the Consumer Technology Association (CTA) at a reception at CES 2019, the TechHome Mark of Excellence Awards recognize the best in custom integration and installed technology. Each year, manufacturers, distributors, and systems integrators compete in more than 30 award categories, with winners selected by a judging panel of industry experts. This year in the category of Installation/System Management Product of the Year, judges were impressed by the remote monitoring capabilities of the cloud-based RTiQ.

 

RTiQ can be configured to monitor RTI control ecosystem and components controlled by an RTI XP control processor. Dealers can monitor the status of these devices via a dashboard from anywhere in the world and receive email and text notifications that alert them if a failure occurs. Once alerted, the dashboard helps them identify the cause of the issue and allows custom actions to be triggered to restore the failed system or component. Customizable actions include anything the control system is capable of, whether it’s rebooting devices, running macros, or sending commands.

 

Easily configured using RTI’s Integration Designer® APEX programming software, RTiQ gives dealers the tools they need to deliver a better experience to their customers. System downtime is dramatically reduced since RTiQ eliminates the need for service calls to address simple issues such as locked-up components. Furthermore, with email and text alerts, these issues can often be resolved before the client is even aware of them.
