This driver supports the Mountain/Peak/Foothill Series line of matrix switchers via RS-232 or Ethernet.

AVocation Systems Matrix Switcher

This driver is for the AVocation Systems matrix switchers. It supports up to 16 inputs and 16 outputs.

Connection Settings

Network (TCP)

The TCP/IP connection on the AVocation matrix switch should be connected to the Ethernet Network.

The AVocation matrix defaults to an IP address of 192.168.0.75.

The AVocation matrix switch uses port 9760 as default for Ethernet communication.

RS-232 Connection

The RS-232 connection on the AVocation Switch should be connected through a null modem to the XP-8 serial adapter.

The AVocation Series defaults to a baud rate of 19200, it can be changed between 4800-38400.

/O Configuration

Last Output Used - Select the last output to be used in the system. The driver currently supports up to 16 outputs.

Last Input Used - Select the last input to be used in the system. The driver currently supports up to 16 inputs.

Output Naming, Input Naming

Enter the names preferred for use in the driver commands, variables, and events. All configured input and output fields must be named.
