By: RTI
Updated: Jan. 22, 2016
Version: 1.30

Description:

This driver is for Atlona AT-UHD-PRO3/AT-PRO3/AT-PRO2 HDMI switchers, connected to the XP processor via RS-232.

Version History:

Version 1.1: adds TCP/IP control along with RS-232 string output capabilities via the AT-PRO3HDREC baluns.

Version 1.2: adds Dynamic Naming and Reconfiguration, XPDiagnostics messaging, ARC On/Off, and System Power On/Off. Replaces Device Model configuration with I/O Count configuration.

Version 1.21: changes default TCP port to 23 from 4400 and also fixes issue where wrong output was being controlled.

Version 1.3: adds volume and mute control and feedback. The output count was increased to 20 to accommodate the additional outputs available on the UHD-PRO3-1616M when mirror mode is off.

Atlona Technologies

This driver is for the Atlona AT-PRO2, AT-PRO3 and AT-UHD-PRO3 series HD matrix switchers connected via RS-232 or Ethernet. Version 1.1 was tested using an AT-PRO3HD44M with a firmware version of 1.1.01 and AT-PRO3HDREC baluns. Version 1.2 was tested with AT-PRO3HD66M and AT-H2H-88M switches. Version 1.3 was tested on a AT-UHD-PRO3-88M with firmware version 1.5.64.

1.30 Added output volume and mute control and feedback.

Output count was increased to 20 to accommodate the additional outputs available on the UHD-PRO3-1616M when mirror mode is off.

TCP Connection

The TCP connection on the Atlona matrix switch should be connected to the Network. It is recommended the matrix switch be set to a static IP and the port be assigned. Please refer to the Atlona documentation on how to set up the IP and port.

The driver uses port 23 as a default, but this may be changed if needed.

RS-232 Connection

The RS-232 connection on the Atlona matrix switch should be connected with a straight through cable to the XP serial adapter.

The Atlona matrix switch defaults to a baud rate of 115200, but may be adjusted to 2400, 4800, 9600, 19200, 38400, 57600, or 115200. Please refer to the Atlona documentation on how to change the matrix switch RS-232 settings.

I/O Count

Select the appropriate output and input count for the switch in use. Selection is from 1-16 for inputs and 1-20 for outputs.

Output and Input Naming

Enter the names preferred for use in the driver commands, variables, and events. All visible fields must be named.

Driver Notes

- Commands, variables and events are available for input/output routing along with system power and output ARC.

- Commands, and text variables are available for AT-PRO3HDREC RS-232 output baud rates.

- Commands are available for sending ASCII and HEX strings to devices connected to the AT-PRO3HDREC RS-232 outputs.
