New RTI Products on Display at InfoComm 2011:
XP-6 Central Control Processor
Packed with an impressive feature set rivaling processors at twice the price, the XP-6 offers a variety of control options such as RS-232, relay, IP, and routable IR. The processor features support for the RTI 433-MHz receivers for one-way RF communication, and ZigBee® 2.4-GHz transceivers can be incorporated for more sophisticated bidirectional communication with an RTI controller. Taking full advantage of the horsepower built into the XP series control processors, the XP-6 has an astronomical clock, support for the RTI Virtual Panel, and utilizes powerful two-way drivers for A/V, security, lighting, and HVAC systems.
XP-3 Central Control Processor
With a robust 532-MHz i.MX processor and 128 MB of nonvolatile flash memory, the XP-3 improves the user experience by providing a much higher degree of control and automation than a standalone remote control. The processor offers a remarkable value with an impressive feature set that is unmatched in its class — including an astronomical time clock for time-based events, a built-in ZigBee® RF transceiver to allow bidirectional communications with compatible RTI remote controls, and access to the same library of drivers utilized by all RTI XP series processors.
RK10 In-Wall Touchpanel Controller
The perfect complement to RTI's XP series processors, the RK10 in-wall touchpanel controller offers the size, power, and flexibility required in any commercial environment, from classrooms and boardrooms to houses of worship, and more. A large 10.2-inch TFT widescreen LCD touchscreen and a fully customizable interface cater specifically to installations with many first-time or infrequent users. The RK10 easily takes full command of a room's electronics, lighting, HVAC, security, and much more, utilizing a powerful Intel® Atom™ processor. Communication options include a built-in wired and wireless (802.11 b/g) Ethernet connection for easy access to network security cameras, Web browsing, convenient programming, and full two-way communication with RTI XP series control processors.
RTiPanel App
The RTiPanel app brings the power of RTI's control solutions to the iPhone®, iPod touch®, and iPad®. With the app installed on any of these popular Apple® products, users will have complete control of their electronics from virtually anywhere in the world.
RTI Virtual Panel
The RTI Virtual Panel empowers commercial users by providing intuitive control and monitoring of their electronics, lighting, security, and more, right on their PC. An app that runs on any PC running Microsoft® Windows®, the Virtual Panel is created using the same Integration Designer® software used for all RTI controllers. A powerful RTI XP series processor makes it all possible, allowing secure local or remote access from any Internet connection, anywhere in the world. Fully customizable, the Virtual Panel interface can be designed to accommodate any size laptop or monitor display and provides full two-way feedback from compatible devices.
AD-4 and AD-8 Distributed Audio Systems
For facility-wide audio distribution, RTI will be demonstrating its four-zone AD-4 and new eight-zone AD-8 distributed audio systems. Acting as extensions to RTI's control systems, the AD-4 and AD-8 offer low-cost and very effective solutions for distributing music in a commercial installation. The systems contain both a matrix switching pre-amp and a built-in Cool Power® class D amplifier, and they achieve amazing flexibility with four or eight local audio source inputs that can be further enhanced with remote audio sources.
RTiDock
As part of RTI's new audio solutions, the RTiDock features rackmount or desktop options and a host of benefits not found on other iPod® docks, such as the ability to sync with iTunes® over the network through Virtual Sync technology. For simple, intuitive operation, the device offers a full on-screen GUI and video output for navigation through a video display device. A sliding tray provides easy access and discreet storage of the iPod for added convenience and a clean design.
