RTI Appoints Mr. Mike Everett as East Coast Regional Sales Manager

Sales Innovator Brings 30 Years of CE Knowledge to Boost Remote Sales

EDEN PRAIRIE, MN - April 13, 2006 - Remote Technologies Incorporated (RTI), the pioneer in home entertainment control technology, announces the hiring of Mike Everett to the position of East Coast Regional Sales Manager. Mr. Everett's established background in the consumer electronics industry will continue to secure RTI's position as the leader in advanced control technology. Everett will report directly to Mr. Pete Baker, director of sales and marketing.

Mr. Everett studied business at the University of Minnesota while he began his career in the audio video industry. He has been a manufacturer's representative for Yamaha and Russound, among others. Most recently, Mike served as president of Florida-based custom installation firm, ProHome Technologies Inc. In his new role at RTI, Mike will also be responsible for managing the company's distribution through the AVAD network, specifically handling the sales, marketing and training initiatives at AVAD's Southeast, Florida, Metro East, Northeast and Ohio locations.
